Social Media Intern / Community Manager (TikTok) – AMC-Lahti
AMC-Lahti – Atmospheric Modelling Centre, Lahti, Finland
AMC-Lahti is a research hub in Lahti working on air quality, climate, and atmospheric modelling. Our goal is to make complex science visible and engaging for wider audiences.
We are looking for a student based in Finland to help us create short TikTok-style videos about our work and interact with our online community.
🎥 What You’ll Do
- Create short-form videos (mainly TikTok & Reels) that explain our research in fun, simple, and creative ways.
- Film and edit content using tools like CapCut, Canva, AI editing apps, or Photoshop.
- Visit Lahti to capture behind-the-scenes clips of our researchers and projects.
- Post videos and interact with our community by responding to comments and messages.
🌟 What We’re Looking For
- A student in Finland (any field, no science background required).
- Strong interest in TikTok, short video creation, and creative storytelling.
- Comfortable filming, editing, and experimenting with ideas.
- Good English (Finnish is a plus, not required).
💰 Internship Details
- Compensation: around €500/month, based on approx. 5 short videos per month (€100 per video).
- This is a part-time / flexible role, easy to combine with studies.
- Travel to Lahti required for filming — your ticket costs will be covered.
- ECTS credits may be arranged depending on your university’s requirements.
- Start date: flexible.
